Kurslog Browser Extension — Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect

This extension stores the following data locally on your device using browser's storage API:

• Your language preference (Ukrainian, Russian, or English)
• Your last selected currencies (from/to)
• Your last selected city (for cash directions)
• Cached currency lists and exchange pairs (refreshed every 5 minutes)

2. Data We Send

The extension makes API requests only to https://kurslog.com/api to:

• Fetch the list of available currencies and trading pairs
• Fetch exchange rates for selected currency pairs
• Fetch available countries and cities for cash directions
• Redirect to exchange services when you click "Exchange"

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

• No personal information (name, email, phone)
• No browsing history
• No analytics or tracking
• No data is sent to any third-party services
• No data is synced to the cloud

4. Third-Party Services

The extension connects only to kurslog.com. When you click the "Exchange" button, you are redirected to the exchanger's website through kurslog.com's redirect service.

5. Permissions Used

• storage: To cache currency data and save your preferences locally
• host_permissions (kurslog.com): To fetch exchange rates from our API
