Deribit

Deribit holds the bulk of the global crypto options market. By the exchange's own figures it accounts for roughly 85% of bitcoin and Ethereum options volume. Alongside options it lists perpetuals, dated futures and spot.

The venue has operated since 2014, making it one of the oldest in this niche. The asset set is narrow: bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and a handful of others. This is not a general-purpose venue for hundreds of tokens but a tool for derivatives on the major coins, which is why its users are mostly experienced traders and institutions.
