Kurslog MCP — Privacy Policy

Kurslog MCP — Privacy Policy

Effective May 25, 2026. This policy covers the Kurslog Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector at https://mcp.kurslog.com/v1/mcp.

The connector is a read-only interface that lets AI assistants such as Claude query public exchange-rate data already published on kurslog.com. It does not store any prompt content, conversation history, or user identity.

1. Data we collect

For each request to the MCP endpoint we log:

  • Timestamp of the request.
  • Source IP address.
  • User-Agent string.
  • Origin header (when present).
  • Name of the MCP tool invoked and its sanitized arguments.
  • Response status and latency.

We do not receive or store the content of your Claude conversation, your prompts, or any account credentials. The connector requires no authentication, so we collect no names, e-mails, or identifiers tied to you personally.

2. How we use the data

  • Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting the MCP service.
  • Detecting abuse (rate limiting, scraping, denial-of-service).
  • Aggregate performance and reliability monitoring.

We do not use this data for advertising or behavioural profiling.

3. Storage and retention

  • Access logs are retained for 30 days, then deleted automatically.
  • Aggregated, non-identifying statistics may be retained longer for capacity planning.
  • Application errors sent to our error-monitoring provider (Sentry) are retained per Sentry's default 30-day policy. PII is scrubbed client-side (send_default_pii=False).

4. Third-party sharing

We do not sell or share request data with third parties for marketing purposes. Limited sharing occurs only with:

  • Our hosting provider, which processes traffic as a normal part of operating the server.
  • Our error-monitoring provider (Sentry).
  • Law-enforcement authorities, only where required by a valid legal process.

5. Your rights

Because we collect no personally identifying information and no account is created, there is generally nothing to request, correct, or delete. If you believe a specific IP address logged by us belongs to you and you want its erasure, contact us at support@kurslog.com.

6. Cookies and tracking

The MCP endpoint sets no cookies and uses no client-side tracking. The informational page at /info/mcp-connector follows the same cookie practices as the rest of kurslog.com.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced on kurslog.com/news.
